Homeless pin-up

November 7th 2013

A man and his dog who embarked on a six-month trek in the Scottish wilderness for us is launching a calendar featuring photos from his adventure.

Wayne Hall (46), who spoke to The Pavement about his trip earlier this year, decided to trek around Scotland with his dog Jerry after losing his home of nine years.

The trip, to raise awareness of homelessness, started in the Highlands in February this year, and finished in Dumfries and Galloway. Wayne’s challenge raised over £5,000 for Shelter Scotland.

The self-employed tiler from Staffordshire lost his home after his landlord died and the property was sold.
