Robbed for small change

September 1st 2014

A homeless man was attacked and robbed for less than the price of a bus fare, according to the Mirror.

The victim had been sleeping rough and was asking passers-by for money in Manchester city centre when he was jumped by two men.

The pair grabbed him and took his cash – just £1.30 – but a man intervened and the attackers were arrested by police nearby.
