On a mission

October 2nd 2009

Glasgow City Mission has just moved into a brand-new purpose-built centre at the heart of the city. The building was constructed by developers for the long-established charity, free of charge, in exchange for the land at their old premises. The sparkling new site will continue to be a place of opportunity and support for vulnerable adults, providing food and essential services, as well as a comprehensive programme of activities including healthy-eating classes, woodworking, art and music. Its crowning achievement is the roof terrace, which will eventually support a gardening club. See for yourself at Glasgow City Mission.
