Lifeline Basis Substance Misuse Service

Monday-Friday: 9am-4:30pm (later by appointment); A unique, free and confidential substance misuse service in Greenwich. They work with those using cannabis; cocaine and party drugs; new psychoactive substances (NPS, formerly 'legal highs') and party drugs; steroids; alcohol (non-dependent); and 'chemsex'. Good inks to local social enterprises which offer training, volunteering and employment. CODES: A, AC, DW, OL, OW, SF, LF, ET

Thames Reach (Employment Academy)

Monday-Friday: 9am-4pm; Supports homeless, vulnerable and isolated men and women through a range of services, activities and accommodation projects. Wandsworth Community Drug and Alcohol Service (WCDAS)

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9am-4:30pm; Wednesday: 1pm-7pm; A consortium between SLaM NHS Foundation Trust, Addaction and St Mungo's which provides specialist treatment for Wandsworth adults affected by drug and/or alcohol issues. CODES: MH, A, DW, ET, MS, NE, OL, OW, SH, SF

Edinburgh Cyrenians

Monday-Friday: 10am-5pm; Advice, information and support phone helpline for people who are homeless, threatened with homelessness or struggling with addiction. Not a drop-in service - appointments by referral. CODES: AD, DW, ET, OL, LA

Emmaus Glasgow

Monday-Friday: 9am-4pm; Accommodation and work for 23/24 homeless people. No drink or drugs, but Emmaus helps people with addiction problems to access local services. CODES: AH, CA, CL, ET, OL

Streetwork Crisis Centre

Monday-Friday: 7am-8pm (drop-in); Saturday & Sunday: 9am-5pm (drop-in); Helpline 24/7: 0808 178 2323. Open 365 days a year to support anyone in Edinburgh who does not have a safe place to sleep. Though their Holyrood Hub and helpline, they advise, refer and support people to access the services they need to resolve their situation.
