Glasgow Gen R 8 Housing Service

Monday-Friday: 9am-5pm; Provides advice and support to people aged 16-24 who wish to access and sustain permanent accommodation. Helps young people to develop the skills they need to maintain a home. Staff work flexibly over the weekend and in the evenings. CODES: AH, AD, BA, CA, DA, TS, SF

Move On (Glasgow)

Monday-Friday: 9am-5pm ; Enables homeless people to develop the skills and tools they need to reach their own long-term solutions. Majority of services for young people, but there are some services available for everyone - phone first to arrange appointment. CODES: AH, AD, ET, OW

Quarriers ('What If' Project for Women)

Monday-Sunday: 12am-12am (24hour support); Supports young women (18-25) with complex needs wherever they are - hospital, prison, B&B and other homeless accommodation. They don't exclude or give up on anyone. CODES: MH, AH, AD, A, C, DW, MS, OW

Right There (formerly YPeople)

Monday-Friday: 9am-5pm; Right There walks alongside those who need support, to prevent them becoming homeless or separated from their loved ones. Rooted in the hearts of local communities across Scotland, our services help to: - Prevent homelessness through supportive and safe places to call home; - Help people become more independent with community-based support; - Improve people’s mental health and wellbeing through mentoring and counselling. Rock Trust (Albany St)

Monday-Friday: 8:45am-5pm (drop-in 9.00-12.00); Monday: 4pm-7pm (cooking group); Tuesday & Wednesday: 4pm-7pm (drop-in); Advises, educates and supports young people. Enables them to build the personal skills and resources required to make a positive and healthy transition to adulthood, while avoiding or moving on from homelessness. Not SF. Saffron Housing

SAY Women Accommodation Project

Monday-Friday: 9:30am-9:30pm; 24-hr emergency on-call service. Support drop-in, helpline and accommodation for women aged 16?25 who are homeless or threatened with homelessness and are survivors of child sexual abuse, rape or sexual abuse. Step-free with lift access. CODES: AH, C, MS

Stopover (Four Square)

Monday-Sunday: 12am-12am (staffed 24/7); Stopover provide supported accommodation to young people aged 16-25 who are homeless. Residents can stay for up to 2 years or until suitable housing becomes available. Referral via Edinburgh City Council: 0131 229 8381 CODES: AH, AD, BS, C, DA, ET, OL, OW

Street Legal

Free legal advice and support to young people (up to the age of 26) who are either experiencing, or at risk of homelessness in Edinburgh. CODES: LA, AD, ET, AH

Wellbeing Service for Young People

Monday-Sunday: 12am-12am (24hour support); 24/7 support for homeless 16–21 year olds. Referral only via Glasgow City Council: 0141 302 2744 (or 0800 838 502 for out of hours). CODES: AH, AD, BA, C, ET

YMCA Glasgow

Monday-Friday: 8am-6pm; Works with people of all ages experiencing homelessness to access and stay in appropriate accommodation. At Ypeople we offer lots of services to people of all ages who are going through homelessness, including supported accommodation, temporary furnished flats, outreach housing support, and support to access to private rented sector. We do this in Glasgow, Edinburgh, South Lanarkshire, East Dunbartonshire, Highland and Orkney. CODES: AH, AD, TS
