Streetwork Crisis Centre

Monday-Friday: 7am-8pm (drop-in); Saturday & Sunday: 9am-5pm (drop-in); Helpline 24/7: 0808 178 2323. Open 365 days a year to support anyone in Edinburgh who does not have a safe place to sleep. Though their Holyrood Hub and helpline, they advise, refer and support people to access the services they need to resolve their situation. The Access Place

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 9am-5pm (closed 1pm-2pm); Tuesday: 10am-5pm (closed 1pm-2pm); Housing and social care service for those who have found themselves on the streets. Specialist GP practice providing a wide range of primary healthcare for people who may be having trouble registering with a GP who are homeless or have additional support needs such as issues with drugs and/or alcohol. The Marie Trust

Monday-Friday: 7:30pm-11pm (food collection); Day service for people affected by homelessness/poverty. Offers low-cost breakfast and lunch, as well as a range of classes and activities. Turning Point (Overdose Response)

Monday-Sunday: 12am-12am (open 24 hours); Drop-in, needle exchange, advice and assessment. Accommodation and support for people with addiction issues. 24-hour advice, support and assessment. Turning Point Scotland (Alcohol & Drug recovery)

Monday-Sunday: 12am-12am (24 hour needle exchange & accommodation); Needle exchange & temp accommodation. 24 hour service for homeless people in crisis because of mental health, drugs or alcohol. A 12-bed residential unit provides a safe environment to withdraw from a chaotic lifestyle. Average stay is 28–36 days. CODES: A, C, DW, LF, MS, NE, SF, AD, AH, FC

Turning Point Scotland (North East Recovery Hub Edinburgh)

Monday & Friday: 9:15am-4:45pm; Wednesday: 11am-4:45pm; Tuesday & Thursday: 9:15am-7:45pm; Drop in open, but with limited service. Drop in to arrange further 1-to-1 support. Needle Exchange Mon – Fri at the times stated above. Range of addiction and recovery services open to men and women aged 16 and over who are aware they have a substance misuse problem and would like to start their recovery journey.
